Ministry ONE’s 14th annual Men’s Conference 2014 – March 21-22, 2014
Isaiah 60:1 say “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”
Men from around the Midwest of America will convene in Chicago, IL at the Emmanuel Baptist Church to sharpen the spiritual and personal lives as they “ADVANCE” in their walk with Christ.
Dr. Rogers Jackson, pastor of Emmanuel says “it’s time for men to take their rightful place in the communities, cities and the country with a mindset to fulfill their mission: ‘to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God’ (Micah 6:8)”.
When it comes to strategic networking opportunities for Christian men, media and ministry professionals, Ministry ONE’s Conference for Men, Patriarch Awards and Women’s Seminar Series is a frontrunner. Some of the award categories are: “BWJ” Lifetime Achievement, Shepherd of the Year, Bible Scholar/Expositor, Chairman “Gold Medallion”, Psalmist, Christian Educator and many more.
March 21 will feature the popular and most anticipated “Patriarch Award”… different men and ministries will be showcased for the great works and services each have displayed in their respective regions.
Also, Ministry ONE along with Dr. Isaac Paintsil, Christ’s Oasis Ministries (Chicago, IL), have partnered together to forge a new conference series entitled “Coming Home”. This conference is specifically designed to “bring brothers back together again”. Men of African-descent will come together for a time of “reconnecting, reconciling, reuniting and rejoicing”. Christ’s Oasis Ministries is located in the northwest area of Chicago, and it has a unique distinction which boasts of 22 different nations represented in its congregation, all of from the continent of Africa.
March 22 men will come together for the “ADVANCE” seminar series; Proverbs 27:17 states “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (NIV).
